The Centre of Civil and Commercial Mediation (CMCC) is one of the mediation operators in Luxembourg. The institution is specialised in the field of civil and commercial mediation as defined in article 1251-2 (1) of the New Code of Civil Procedure. Its members are the Luxembourg Bar, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Crafts, and the Medical Chamber.
Formerly known as Chaux de Contern, Contern S.A. focuses on the production of concrete products. Today it has become a modern company with many new projects in the field of building materials, innovation and the circular economy. Contern S.A. is a 100% local company that does all of its purchasing and sales in the Greater Region.
The "Bamschoul" plant nursery was founded in 1946 by Mr. Martin Wahl in Befort. Their size has grown from 3 hectares of land to over 11 and new fields for native shrubs, seasonal flowers, vegetable plants have been laid out in the village of Eppeldorf. New services were added to meet the growing demands of their customers. Today, the company, managed by Yves Gloden, employs 10 people, from nurserymen to landscapers and florists.
