Founded in 1990 in Luxembourg as an IT consultancy, AMYMA has evolved over the years into a full service web agency with a multi-faceted customer portfolio. This can be seen this at a client level: over 100 active customers trust our creativity and experience and are well catered for by us in many areas. It is not only a variety of customers from Luxembourg who come to us with their needs – we also look after customers in Germany, France, Sweden, the UK and Switzerland, and we are not afraid to make the long trek to Iceland either!

Graphic design is done by hand for every project, meaning your website will be unique. We value a sophisticated, detailed design concept, because an attractive Internet window display, with lavishly decorated mannequins draws in more visitors than an empty window with little more than a business card in the viewer’s field of vision.
We consider it a matter of honour that we work with the latest techniques and technology, such as HTML5 and CSS3 when implementing our projects. But don’t worry: our web applications also run flawlessly on older browsers.
What we value
The page cannot be found – that is one sentence you won’t see on your own website. We ensure that websites meet W3C standards and as a quality characteristic of our work, contain valid code. This guarantees that sites created by us are displayed correctly in all standard browsers and function consistently. We can even cope with older and flawed browsers, such as Internet Explorer 6, and we are very familiar with the mobile browser generation, like Mobile Safari for iPhone. If a browser does not support certain technology, then we implement an alternative, so your website is always well displayed, everywhere.
Of course, this also includes barrier-free access: your web presence can be used by everyone, regardless of physical or technical constraints. So, for example, users can change the font size themselves, and pictures are always furnished with an alternative text for blind users.
The brains behind it all
Hi, my name is Harald Bröcker, web designer and founder of AMYMA. I have been working in software development and application design for 25 years. In my first company, I programmed risk management software and applications for banks and financial service providers. The emphasis of the work was always purely on functionality; user friendliness and an attractive design did not come into it. This was a reason for me, with my web agency AMYMA, to step into the breach in the name of good design and successful web and software products.
